Video Tops the Charts as Medium for Content Marketing

I will take the opportunity to share with you recent research results and remind you that videos for websites about your business or company are one of the most important marketing components.

I am a video production service provider here in San Jose -Bay Area and have been seeing an increase in requests to produce videos for small businesses and bigger companies.  Outbrain and Econsultancy have recently released the results of the research that they conducted about content marketing ways that brand marketers and agencies utilize.  And video is topping the charts. As you can see in the graph below, video is the most popular medium for content marketing amongst such marketers. Don’t discount the blogs, they are still amongst the top ways to build awareness about your business and company as well as provide valuable information to your customers and partners.

 

 

 

If you are a small business owner and are still in doubt that blogging just takes a lot of time and is not worth the effort and if you still think that you’ll have time to produce a video about your business, I would encourage not to wait too long. Hire a ghost blog writer, if you don’t have time to post blogs yourself, pick up your flip cam and start shooting video tips about your industry. It’s all worth the time because all of those tools help drive traffic to your website and build awareness about your business.
